Call for Participants: Improving Personal Mobility, Bicycle, Pedestrian Shared Space Safety and Convenience in a Korean Context

We are conducting a study on the interaction between e-scooters, bicycles and the pedestrian sidewalk with the aim to improve the shared space safety.

The experimental element of this study requires research participants above the age of 18, who regularly commute with e-scooters and bicycles and are willing to take part in the laboratory trials at the UCL PEARL facility in Dagenham. Address: UCL PEARL, Yew Tree Avenue, Dagenham RM10 7FN.


Experiments are due to take place at PEARL from 7th to 9th January 2025 with each experiment lasting no more than 1.5 hours. 

 

Participants will be expected to attend for all 3 days for 1.5 hours per day. Participants will be compensated £150 on the last day, for their time and travel expenses.
