Updated Call for Participants: Public Transport and Working Beyond Age 65

PLEASE NOTE: the eligibility criteria for the final focus group has been widened to include more age groups. See below.


At PEARL we are carrying out research on how to realise the social value of older people working beyond 65 years of age and the ways in which public transport might affect this. This research is comprised of focus groups and interviews, please see below for the details.



Focus groups at PEARL in Dagenham

Duration: 1 hour

Dates: 23rd August (the other dates have now been filled)

Time: 11am - 12 midday

Criteria:

· Ages 65+. Must either be still working/volunteering or have considered working/volunteering past the age of 65

· People in their late 50s or early 60s, currently employed and considering their options for what they will do after retirement age

Compensation: £20 per person + £10 to cover travel expenses

Online interviews

Duration: Approx. 45 minute online interview. This is a one-to-one interview, we are looking for people to take part individually

Dates/Times: Can be organised around the participant’s availability

Criteria: Ages 18+ and working or volunteering in an organisation that works with older people e.g., Age UK

Please note participants for the online interviews will not receive compensation.
